As we all know the upcoming 2009-2010 Ice hockey season is about to get underway. We are looking forward to all of the Golden Spike practices, games, and especially the new faces who have joined the association. We are pleased to announce that our Power skating sessions and our Learn to skate programs are about to start up on Tuesday, September 15. Power skating will begin at 4pm, Learn to skate for Basic 1 figure skating at 5pm, and Basic 1 and 2 for Ice hockey will start at 5:30pm at the Weber Co. Ice sheet (4390 Harrison Blvd. Ogden, UT). Also as we have done in the past, we will be hosting our annual "Skate Swap" on Saturday, September 19 from 9am - 2pm. If you are looking for used hockey equipment or used figure skates that are in good condition or are looking to make some quick cash on you or your children's old equipment this might be the perfect solution to getting rid of those old boxes sitting in your basement.
Let's get ready for a great season!
